I use it occasionally for its calming effect and before bed. I like 500mg at a time. 750mg is just too big a dose for me for daytime use. It might be okay before bed. 500mg is more agreeable to me. I can't say it is a great anti-anxiety agent. There are better things out there for anxiety, but GABA does have a relaxing effect if you're just trying to chill. Can't say that everyone would like it. You either do or you don't. It's okay, though. Very safe to take. The Japanese put it in their snack foods. I guess they'd need it because of their stressful lifestyle. Kava kava, to me, is a better anti-anxiety agent than GABA.
