I am surprised by how differently I react to the various forms of magnesium. I'm not sure if it's coincidence or what, but with the citrate and taurate forms, I take them at night and wake up during the night, more awake than I'd like. With the glycinate form, I sleep through the night but wake a little earlier than I like with a bit of energy, which I prefer to the former. I hadn't really noticed much with strictly glycinate, other than it makes me feel a little paralyzed, in a pleasant way, when asleep. I do know that around the time I began taking it, I needed to up my "up" aminos the next day. But I had also been toying with other things, such as magnesium and holy basil around the same time, so I don't know what caused what.

> Yes, it might affect mood the next day. I had this experience with magnesium glycinate. Too much of it may make you lethargic. I'm not sure about glycine. I used to take it during the day, not at night.
