Even if you felt nothing on fish oil, I would consider taking for life for many other reasons.
Did you take a fish oil with a 4 to 1 EPA to DHA ratio? Was it pharmaceutical grade? How much fish oil did you take?

Other supps for ADD: Grape Seed Extract, Pycnogenol, ginko biloba, gotu kola, MindCare by Himalaya, Chia seed(not a supplement, a food source of other omega 3s and omega 6s), Black Currant Oil, Borage Oil, Ashwaghandha, Alph GPC Choline, stabilized Na R lipoic Acid combined with Acetly L Carnitine, Panax Ginseng, and a good Multivitamin, not crap like centrium silver.

Maybe add some extra Magnesium and Zinc.

You will need a comprehensive approach that you stick with for a long time. Anything that is good for brain health, while maybe not giving you any noticeable benefits, will help you mind function better and help alleviate your attention deficit.

I would also recommend Bikram yoga, it's amazing..of course intense exercise followed by stretching always helps
