There haven't been enough studies done with regard to Inositol to prove any effectivness for treating panic/anxiety in my opinion. I tested Inositol at these high doses using a good quality powered form for at least three months and it had zero effect for me.
I believe the stereo isomer form I think it's called epi-inositol has shown to have a more potent effect as an anxiolytic, the problem with this is again a small amount of studies and the fact that you won't find a supplier of this form of Inositol.
It's inexpensive to try Inositol, there's various sites that sell the powder in bulk. Bulknutrition.com (ships internationally) or myprotein.co.uk for example.
