I have not actually been to the Pfeiffer Center myself but I attended a week-long course their doctors and scientist gave for doctors in Sydney last year. I also met some of the patients who had been seen there before. The most impressive sight I saw was 2 autistic children aged 4 whose mothers told me they had made a dramatic improvement. I spoke to the children myself and was very impressed. Where I live in Ireland we just do psychotherpy (ABA) which is a waste of time for autism really until the biochemistry is sorted out.I myself learned a lot at the course.Sometimes I can scarcely believe that so much benefit can be achieved so easily.Depression responds best, then schizophrenia and bipolar. Those with severe OCD do not do well as a rule, nor do those who start receiving treatment after the age of about 50.Nutrition is given while continuing the standard medical therapy but many of those with depression will be able to get off medication in due course.
