I hadn't heard about whey causing a drop in blood sugar. Why would it do that? I use the kind sweetened with stevia, but always mix it with milk or something else, so it seems like it would raise your blood sugar like any carbohydrate, but gradually, the protein in the milk and whey would prevent the surge and then drop like a candy bar would.
