Hi,

mine was a restless kind of insomnia. I'd normally get to sleep easily and then wake soon afterward and then spend hours trying to get to sleep again only to find if took hours and then I'd sleep only sporadically. I'd eventually fall asleep properly about 9am and then sleep through till 1pm.

Not sure if the mag and niacinamide cured it or if it was other sups which caused the insomnia which cured itself once I'd stopped taking them (sorry it was a few years ago now so I cant be sure).

Both mag glycinate (from solgar) and niacinamide are relaxing and not expensive so probably worth getting a jar of each and giving em a go.

If I recall the mag glyc were in 400mg tabs (which I ate 4 or 5 of a day and the niacinamide were 500 mg which I took 3 of a day.

I hope you find what you need as insomnia really is one ofthe worst afflictions (along with my nemesis, chronic anxiety).

By the way, its a shame your sex drive is so poor as sex is pretty good at relaxing one into a peaceful sleep!
