I liked rhodiola and noticed an anti-depressant effect. I've yet to take it very many times by itself and really test it though.
For a couple weeks I took a combination of rhodiola, relora, COQ, and hoodia (2 caps of each) and felt euphoric at times without any adverse experiences. I really need to take notes. I would make a horrible scientist.
I haven't taken any recently because I've been sidetracked with kratom, albizzia, bacopa, and other herbs. I put it in abeyance on the top shelf with other promising supplements.
About the only way I keep track is a shelf system. Top shelf - very promising, set aside for further "experimentation", fine tuning, or when, oddly, I'm "feeling" better. (the mystery is why not take it now to feel better) I know it works but I'm not sure at what dose or in what combination with other herbs.
The middle shelf holds what I take every day. I just reach in, shuffle from one side to another - kinda like a killer whale thrashing around on the beach for a penguin - and haphazardly ingest a handful or catch of the day.
The bottom shelf is really a box set aside for supplements to which I've reacted badly, yet those I haven't completely given up on. This is really a prolonged way of throwing them away, much like leftovers well-meaningly kept in the fridge for a week only to be discarded. A kind of mourning period with post traumatic buyer's remorse.
I'm still struggling just to stay sober (82 days) so I've put a lot of things in abeyance.
