When I take tyrosine throughout the day, I get extremely irritable and dysphoric and I feel stressed out - like high strung, like I've come down from like 9 cups of coffee. But yet, I still feel energetic and motivated. The irritability is COMPLETELY removed with a nice dose of 5-htp, though, so it's definitely cuz of the tyrosine.

I find that if I take a 500mg or 1,000mg of tyrosine once in the morning, this works very nicely as a morning stimulant and as long as i dont take more, i dont get irritable.
