~~~Some folks do note fishy burps and breath manners. Switching - I know, it's not fun to have a product at hand and have to switch - to one that is lemon flavored may be of help. You could check the company's return/exchange policy and maybe wouldn't be out in terms of losing funds over this. I believe Carlson products aren't difficult about that.

~~~I wouldn't think that's the case and in particular, given the short period of time. I honestly believe most fish oil preparations are to a standard that isn't harmful. But, that's just what I believe. Also, a factor for me and my anxiety issues is being hyperattentive when starting ANYTHING new. I'm not saying that's the case for you, but it always is for me. Truthfully, fish oil has caused me the least amount of difficulties of any "add ons" I've taken to include vits and minerals. I took it for a year and a half. It's the only one I stayed with consistently over my haul and the one I'm probably going to add back - if for no other reason, it's really good for heart health.
