I have a LiteBook which is very similar to the GoLite I believe. It is a primarily blue light spectrum box that is small for travelling. I haven't tried anything else yet though in terms of full spectrum. I've heard that blue light is the light most responsible for the SAD therapeutic effects. That's the wavelength that suppresses melatonin secretion which is supposedly the main culprit for SAD. I've done a lot of reading on it and there doesn't seem to be anything conclusive on the research though.

This is my first winter using the light box. It's hard to say whether it is having a dramatic effect or not. I was on different meds this winter than last but overall I am much better than previous years. Chalk that up to either the lightbox or Prozac, Adderall, and Wellbutrin that I added to the mix.

I was on Lamotrigine and Wellbutrin last year but I also had a lot of stress from school and work at the same time so it's hard to effectively compare years.

Best of luck!

Brian
