Omega3 - what kind of strengths will help??

I refuse to fight my downturn with prescription meds again, so am doing the alternate thing now..
been out and bought the strongest Omega3 capsules I could find at the pharmacist (no way I was walking the 2 miles to the health food store in the rain / wind / thunder / lightening we're having at the moment!!)..
What I bought was the Seven Seas Extra High Strength Cod Liver Oil capsules.. The info is;
Omega3 - 400mg
of which EPA and DHA - 360mg
Is this going to be strong enough to help me??
