Just noticed someone else posted about dyes, and followed a link to various information.
Yellow 5 lake, and yellow dye number 5, also known as tartrazine, are pure evil and will destroy us all!

I kept having irritation of my eye lids, and didn't realize why. It was only when I drank a lot lemonade, which has yellow 5 lake in it. So I gave that up.
Did you know some eggs have this hazardous dye fed to the chickens so their egg yokes have a more yellow color? I'm going to have to check what brands I buy.
