Hi
I have heard there have been studies into sleep therapy (where they wake you during the first period of REM sleep until your body begins to reset its circadian rhythms). It teaches the body to regulate its own levels of serotonin or something. Has anyone tried this? If so, does it work?
Also, there is a study into light therapy, where they expose you to bright lights for a time and it increases serotonin (the theory being that people get depressed more during the darker, winter months). Anyone else heard of this? Tried it?
