Hi Lamdage,

Glad to see you back! You deserve to be supported..absolutely!

Like U_D said, SSRI's are often the go to meds for OCD'ish symptoms. The one, fluvoxamine, was designed specifically for OCD. The tricyclic, clomipramine, was the main OCD med prescribed before the SSRI's came along. It is much milder in side effects than SSRI's.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) is the most effective talk therapy for OCD. It uses what is called exposure and extinction. There are some good workbooks out there on it's use. Also, 'Mindfulness' apps you can find for your phone, like one called 'Calm', are very effective and quite popular.

I'd also suggest a supplement called Choline. I find the choline in Lecithin caps, 4 caps 1-2x a day, very calming. The anticholinergic property of Seroquel can deplete your body's store of choline, which can be a good anxiety fighter. OCD is an anxiety disorder.

Just throwing some thoughts out there.

Jay
