> I am having a hard time following my 3 days a week strength training regimen for several weeks. I also try to get more daily steps. I easily feel strung out. Ontop of that, I cant sleep for about 6 hours after a strength workout. Are Seroquel and Zyprexa very bad for exercise performance? All I have seen are studies that call for further studies. They say it may be a problem.

>From personal experience, I'd have to say 'yes' that Zyprexa and Seroquel, as well as (in my case) Risperdal, make exercise feel like you are gonna die...just from sheer exhaustion. Even, just today, I took some extra Risperdal last night, and this morning just walking to the bus stop felt like I was carrying 50 pounds in groceries! My legs, literally, felt like they were going to give way! Just yesterday, and the previous week, I was just bouncing nice through the mall.
I suspect it is the dopamine blockade, especially at high doses of these meds. I remember my days on high dose Zyprexa, with occasional high dose Seroquel, I could barely walk around the block!
Anyhow...just my thoughts.
