New Zealand is experimenting with spacing the doses further apart. 6 weeks between doses. In an attempt to give more people a first dose.
I don't know how that will work out, in practice, however, because of the 'on the grapevine' anecdotal things about 3rd booster shots. That gets people hoarding vaccines, again, for more shots for themselves and their loved ones, you see. More possibilities for financial gains of shipping those doses various places around the world to be sold to the highest private bidders...
