I can't say that I have reverted to a 'previous life', but sometimes with weed, I wake up forgetting what year it is. I seem to (at least temporarily) revert to a time when my life was better. It is interesting that the brain can (seemingly) remember its psychological (and perhaps biochemical) state of previous times.

Of course, when I come to terms with when/where I actually am, I quickly relapse.
