An inability to sleep is not necessarily an indication that you need to take more antipsychotic!
There are much better meds for sleep.
Try again. Tell your doctor what is happening - and what symptoms you are having.
As mentioned, a low dose of melatonin may help sleep. A very low dose of mirtazapine may also help. Even 1mg of mirtazapine can be a great sleep aid with MUCH less impairment than an antipsychotic.
Magnesium may also help sleep.
My killer combo for insomnia is:
mirtazapine 1mg
melatonin 1mg
magnesium 50-100mg
lorazepam 0.25mgI don't think these have ever failed me for sleep.
