hi. im not any sort of expert on LDN, but from what I've read, very low dose naltrexone (ideally from a compounding pharmacy) can boost the immune system, boost the opioid system, and can have mild stimulating effects.

so...maybe? opioids have been used in depression and Schizophrenia, off and on for a long, long time. I read a relatively recent case study from the UK (I think...) in which a chronic Schizophrenia patient was given a moderate dose of a potent opioid, basically to relieve his mental anguish. Makes sense, intuitively, and it seemed to help (however one gauges "helping...").
