thiothixene for impulses - need final opinion

Posted by jalapeno on September 14, 2016, at 9:08:33

I wrote about rage attacks and sexual impulses and two people suggested thiothixene. I want to know since trifluoperazine at a total dose daily of 20mg is not working well, whether thiothixene will indeed work, at what dosage is it usually recommended for this and if it can indeed replace trifluoperazine. I went back on risperidone 3mg tab with haloperidol 5mg for a few days but then all the horrible risperidone side effects came back intolerably. Can someone please comment on thiothixene thereapy, if it will work alone, and whether SEs will be tolerable. I read a little about rabbit syndrome, etc and sounds a bit scary. I want to be well informed before asking doctor.
