The sedative-type effect tends to decrease over time... but that's a completely different issue to addiction.

Clozapine is generally the most sedating antipsychotic overall, so people usually take most of the dose at night. Olanzapine and quetiapine are quite sedating, but not to the extent of clozapine. Some antipsychotics such as amisulpride are not normally sleep inducing.
