After all the years on benzos unless they become illegal guess on them for life. I have just stopped them in the past I think both valium and ativan and it was fine . I still remember miltown with valium. One day stopped miltown and never noticed. When about a month later and saw the doc he was amazed no withdrawal. But at the time was happy and going to school, own aerobics business, going through a divorce, raising kids. But I was busy so that was the key for me. Phillipa
