Nardil is already pretty darn dopaminergic. All the MAOIs that are FDA approved for depression in the USA are quite potently dopaminergic.
Adding L-dopa to an MAOI sounds pretty crazy. Are you sure you are thinking clearly? Isnt there a drug/drug interaction between L-dopa and Nardil, anyway?
Sometimes, with these drugs, we have to just tolerate side effects.
I found the MAOI Parnate to have little sexual dysfunction side effect myself. I found Parnate to be about the only psych drug I ever took that significantly improved my sex drive and function. Wellbutrin some, testosterone does but thats not a psych med.
Side effects are highly individual, but perhaps switching to Parnate or EMSAM might alleviate sexual dysfunction but still give you the MAOI effect?
