I too suspect that taking l-dopa with Nardil would not be safe. It's my understanding that broad beans are on the list of foods not to eat while on an MAOI because they contain l-dopa, so I tend to think that it would be best to stay away from l-dopa-containing supplements if you're taking Nardil or another MAOI.

I also just did some searching and found this case report indicating that taking l-dopa with phenelzine can produce a dramatic increase in blood pressure:
