remeron is an antidepressant

Posted by linkadge on November 6, 2013, at 19:45:33

Over the years, I have probably had more success with remeron than other antidepressants. As an antidepressant, I would say it can be as effective as any other.

In terms of my core symptoms of depression (i.e. insomnia, anxiety, loss of appetite, anhedonia etc), it seems to work faster and more completely than other drugs.

I don't need a lot (maybe 7.5 - 15mg).

I also find that on remeron I am less detached socially. I can relate to people better. I fill less 'different'. I.e. I probably have some autistic like traits that it seems to help.
