Baclofen affects the GABA-B receptor, while benzos affect the GABA-A receptor. I've read some posts about people having baclofen withdrawal. I'd guess this happens to some and doesn't to others. People shouldn't stop taking it cold turkey. Baclofen should be tapered, as sudden withdrawal could cause seizures. The dose that made me feel wonderful, and that caused insomnia, was 75-100 mg. A lower dose didn't help with mood.
