I think medical marijuana should be legal. Of course the drug companies will fight that. The one thing I agree with in this article was how they were talking about not having to renew the script. I live in a state with medical marijuana, and have a friend who uses it. You only have to see a doctor once a year...you get your "prescription" and then that's it. The law says you can only possess a certain amount at any one time...BUT you can go to the dispensary as often as you want, get a refill as much as you want for an entire year. Compare that to my Ativan script I only get 1 refill and then have to go back to the doctor. Imagine if you could get your benzo or opioid and just get unlimited refills for a year, that's basically how it is with medical marijuana and I don't think that is right...if they made it a schedule II drug it would make a lot more sense to me.
