I knew that I should stick with a low dose and only take once a day when I started klonopin,even though was prescribed double that and twice a day! I do wish I'd have stuck with .25mg instead of .5mg. My anxiety was so awful that I felt compelled to alleviate it. But once it was controlled, I wish that I had been wise enough to taper off and then only use as needed.
