In rereading I see you mention swelling are you sure it's not rheumatoid arthritis. Most common with swelling although some I've heard have swelling with OA. I took cymbalta 60mg with benzos for three months. No side effects other than didn't have any back pain. But at the time I didn't know I had back pain. I found out when went off the cymbalta. So I tried it again about a year later but a different pdoc I didn't like or trust. He wanted me to go from 30mg to 120mg of cymbalta in a month. Hence couldn't even tolerate 30mg. I was a mess of anxiety. So went off it. Shows how trust also effects the way a med works. Lyrica never tried. Phillipa
