After speaking to my Tx yesterday, she reminded me that Paxil is great for anxiety. It was the first psych med I ever took (I was 21) and at the time, it worked wonders. I eventually stopped it, was in remission for a few years, and when my depression came back I tried it again in my early 30s. The second time I tried it I had a negative reaction to it (it made me very irritable and angry). Is that common?
Does anyone still take it? I don't suffer from social anxiety, it's GAD.
