I was instructed to take a small piece of the 10mg prozac pill, on the first day that I start to feel anxious before my menses. I am only to take it one day. My pdoc said it will slowly leave my body over 2 weeks time. She wanted me to take a small piece off of the 20mg pill, but I insisted on the 10mg. The ssris only cause anxiety in me if I take the regular dose that most take. I always have to start real low and slowly work my way up. However, with the prozac, I will not be working my way up. I may actually take a whole 5mg next menses tho!
