Thanks Jedi, you are so right.
While I've been going through horrible nardil withdrawal this week, I made it very clear to my husband that if I became inconherent and had to go to the hospital that is was extraordinarily important for him to tell the people there that I am on an MAOI, and not only that, to stress that giving me certain drugs could literally kill me. I told him it's completely possible that even if you tell them I'm on an MAOI they may have absolutely no clue what that implies. I really need to get one of those medic alert bracelets, but it scares me that even if I wear one that say I'm on an MAOI, I could still end up being given the wrong drug.
