go with your gut, but i would consider some other med. although its minimal Buspar can cause or worsen depressive episodes. i know. it happened to me. i kept wanting to 'wait it out but anhedonia and lowered mood kept getting more cemented in not necessarily worse but was not getting better. i kept waiting andd all that did was put a few extra pounds on me and made it a little harder to pull up out of.
you gave it time. i'd say go with your gut.
