I guess people don't want to believe you because:
1. It upsets their model of depression and how it reacts to treatment.
2. It upsets them to think that you might be untreatable.
3. It upsets them to think that they have been treating you for the wrong illness.
I'm glad you still have hope. Ketamine might be exactly what you need.
