In what ways did the baclofen improve your condition? What do you need to accomplish with treatment?

Those are both reasonable choices. Lithium 300 mg helps stabilize my depression so that it is not as variable during a single day or throughout the week. It has helped me in combination with both Nardil and Parnate. I found memantine 20 mg to be somewhat helpful in combination with Parnate. I would go back to it if necessary, but I would probably look at LDN (low-dose naltrexone) first. I cannot recommend LDN yet because I have no personal experience with it and have not witnessed it work for anyone else. Morgan Miller is currently working with it.

Effexor combined with Wellbutrin.
I am currently working with prazosin, which is cheap and very safe. It is producing a significant improvement in my bipolar depression. I don't know how far it will take me yet. I am not yet 50% improved, but am gradually headed in that direction. The more chronic and severe the depression, the longer it takes to reach remission. Also, the path of improvement is not necessarily linear. There may be peaks and valleys. I experienced a lull that lasted an entire week. It really had me fooled into thinking that I had reached a plateau and was losing the response. I am better now. I have completed only 4 weeks of treatment so far.
Currently:
Parnate 80 mg
nortriptyline 150 mg
Lamictal 200 mg
lithium 300 mg
prazosin 6 mg
