Perfectly said and right on target. To me understanding and talking are more important than chemicals. And I do know first hand that SSRI's do not help anxiety. Add a benzo and yes but it's the benzo the body just adapts to the SSRI or other med. Thanks for reenforcing what I have felt all along. Meds in of themselves are not the answer for me. Maybe lower than prescribing dose lowers anxiety enough for my brain to find a solution to the problem. Phillipa
