Reading stuff like this makes me glad that Australia has a national health scheme, one which all doctors participate in.
Most shrinks charge a bit more than the rebate you get from the health service, but not ruinously so.... my shrink in adelaide charged $110 for a 45 minute consult, and I got $80 of thst back.
