Surmontil seems not to interfere with sleep architecture. I am rather afraid of D2 antagonism though. My one experience with an antipsychotic was so scary I shudder to think about it. Nevertheless, has anyone had experience with this med? Is it one of the TCAs that can be safely used with MAOIs? I don't mean what the PDR says, I mean in the hands of a knowledgeable doctor. Did anyone who has taken it develop TD or akathisia, or feel like a zombie? Any experiences with this med would be appreciated.
