I get depressed from almost anything that raises nitric oxide levels even when taking antidepressants. Arginine is one sure way to do that. Actually nitric oxide synthase inhibitors are currently researched as possible antidepressants because NO has inhibitory influence on dopamine and norepinephrine. Paroxetine is in addition to being an SSRI also a NO synthase inhibitor.
I really feel for the millions of people who stack on nitric oxide supplements for bodybuilding efforts and most don't have slightest clue that they're messing with their brain in a very wrong way.

Seroquel makes me emotionally flat when going over 50-75 mg per day. But I've gotten the impression that this number might be higher if also taking an AD.
