I'm giving Nuvigil a second run right now. I've had varying experiences with Stimulants/Wakefullness agents. Some days they would work great, other days I'd have dysphoria, and other days it'd make me extremely tired. Getting off of pure stimulants is pure hell as well. I seem to be doing better this time either because I'm starting at a lower dose or because I am combining it with an antidepressant that has at least worked somewhat.
I've tried Vyvanse, Concerta, Provigil, and Wellbutrin. Wellbutrin worked great for about 6 months and then pooped out. Vyvanse was great for a month but then made me feel worse and getting off of it took a month and a half before I could somewhat pull myself out of that dopamine rebound.
