She first tried Abilify and experienced just about all of the worst side effects. It also made her ravenously hungry. She was switched to Geodon, and although she battled overwhelming sleepiness for a couple of weeks, that subsided and she was just left with a profound stabilization of mood. She has a breakthru of mild, short-term manic symptoms maybe two or three times a year, so for my daughter - Geodon Rules!
