Thank you bleauberry. Your doctor has a very commonsense approach and you are blessed to have him. Since I am stablized at the 5 mg/day, having a lower dose take long to work isn't a problem for me. And I have a feeling that for me, I need only a very light touch on serotonin (I say this from past experience with Prozac), so my maintenance dose may be less than 5 mg/day.


Diagnosis: recurrent melancholic depression

Meds: Lexapro since Sept. 2009
