I'm currently taking Paxil 40 mg and it's not helping me at all. I feel like I'm actually getting worse. When I see the Dr. I'm going to ask her to start me on something else. Is that even possible while I'm still on paxil? Do I have to come completely off before I start something new? Here's the other thing, I've tried almost everything out there when it comes to SSRIs and SNRIs. I've also tried Pamelor which didn't work well and had to stop the anafranil because of a seizure I had. So I'm running out of options, any suggestions would help. I should also mention that the Dr. I'm going to see isn't a pyschiatrist, she's a family doc. I cant get in with a pyschiatrist for about another 2 weeks.
