to true alexandra, they can make you worse ,thats why i dont like threads were kids at colledge are put on a.ds , let them grow up naturaly not turn to meds every time a tough exam crops up, but they also save your life,if mentally ill they are all you have an ssri,s have come top in being the most likely to work for most people were would we be without prozac. you read off a load of side effects all meds give ,thats the trade off, nothings for free.ed the guy im talking obout is of the old school ,he dont think he may be mentally ill , he may not be i dont no,he is getting out an about now , something i carnt do if suffering a depression attack , so you and he may be right it could be stress, but it happens far to offten with him , he looked to the g.p , who labled him depessed an gave hime a ssri,s the only thing he could do when faced with a man in distress, he chose not to take it , if trully in trouble he would have stuck it out for the trial but he bailed, that puts a question mark against how bad he may be,i have stuck with meds like effexor that was totally bad for me ,side effects like hair loss plus loads more, but i finished the trial as how do you no if you dont,he has had a therapist visit his home in the past , payed for by himself, but you carnt keep asking a gp for help an then not takeing his advice , what is the point of that
