In my opinion Traz is a poor choice. Not to say it couldn't work, it just has very low odds compared to other options. I would put its odds at near zero.

SLS mentioned nortriptyline. That was my number one pick.

I personally don't like wellbutrin so I have a hard time supporting it, but in reality a fair percentage of people do quite well with it.

Effexor+Nortriptyline.
Effexor+Desipramine.
Effexor+Amitriptyline (if you are looking for the kind of knockout sedation that Traz has but want some antidepressant ummph at the same time)
Effexor+Wellbutrin.
Effexor+Zyprexa.
Effexor+Abilify.

Of the above, my top pick would be the first one.
