I've been on Trazodone for sleep for the past 8 years. Usually, with 50-100 mgs on board I am asleep in an hour.
I'm female so I don't have to worry about priapism, but I do get a nasty stuffy nose, which tells me I'll be asleep soon. Nasal spray helps with that side effect.
Taking it with food makes it work faster, and you may notice you actually get hungry once you take it.
I sleep like a rock with Traz on board, and I have no grogginess the next day. I wake up when my alarm goes off, if not slightly before.
