I wouldn't know how to deal with temps as low as yours. I know people up north think we are whiney down here, but people need to remember that we are not conditioned to exremely cold weather.

Hi Courtney :-)
I wish you good luck with the Parnate...I just withdraw from it 5 days ago. Too much side-effects for me in the departement of "heart" and "blood pressure"... Very good for social phobia and anxiety but the worst for side-effects...I mean dangerous side-effects...Normally all the newer drugs SSRI's or SRNI's have more side-effects but no really danger, I mean it's always the same side-effects, tiredness, lack of motivation, lack of energy, apathy, sexual dysfonction...

Anyway...if you can take it and live with the side-effects of the Parnate that will be a good experience for you...I hope ;-) Maybe you will be lucky and feel no side-effect at all...that's what I really hope for you ;-) Overall, Parnate was more efficient for my social anxiety than the Nardil, both of them have their own side-effect profile, very different...but I prefer the Nardil...And for the "amphetamine effect" of similar chimical structure, I never found the Parnate to be a lot stimulating...in fact, I was more tired on it at daytime...and especially in the evening...but major insomnia problem at night...so it's why the Seroquel can be very helpfull!!!

Someone told me that last night I do a lot of noises when I was asleep...Since I don't remember if I dream or not, I can assume that at least, my dreams never goes to the vivid dreams state...I double my dose last night, 50mg of regular Seroquel...cause I find that the Seroquel at 25 mg tend to decrease in efficiency after a while and I sleep like a baby...close my eyes around 1 AM and wake up at 8:30 AM...with no dizness sentation...but I still feel tired as hell...Strange...Anyway...

Humm for the weather, do you really think that people up in the north are conditioned to exremely cold weather like this? lol No way...we are conditioned to cold weather around -10 to -15 celcius...but not -32 or worse, -35 celsius like this morning!!! lol Unfortunately, I can't move more to the south...or just travel to the south...i'm disable from work so no money, no funny (french expression here...sorry...lol).

Anyway, I hate winter!!! lol

Well, give me some updates about your Parnate experience ok ;-) ...it should be helpfull i'm sure... Remember that i'm a lot sensible to the side-effects of all the "drugs" so i'm not a good example to follow...Stay positive and i'm sure everything will be fine ;-)

Take care!

Vince ;-)
