Thanks rasinb, that is very helpful. I'm female, too, but I LOVED Fight Club (or was it just Brad Pitt?). I actually started running last year to help deal with work drama and anxiety. It is one of my favorite activities, but this recent funk has zapped my motivation to do so... I meet with my GP today and hopefully will get a good combo of meds and then it's back to running and maybe my own fight club. :) Thanks for the input.
