I took Parnte for a long time. I had hypotension and passed out a lot. It can be dangerous but I started taking Ritalin with it. Of course this can cause hypertensive crisis. A pdoc who was not treating me told me if the doc would not prescribe Ritalin for the hypotension to buy "Sudafed" and cut them in half and take half at a time. I cannot stress that this can be dangerous. I also have Procardia at hand and a blood pressure gauge. Instead of going to the hospital as I had several spontaneous hypotensive crisis' I took the Procardia at home and kept checking my blood pressure to make sure it worked and if I need to take another. I always made sure I was not alone or if I could not do this I called someone and kept in touch until I was okay.
